And I agree- days like that which highlight our incredible weather and scenery ARE the best parts of living in this crazy, mixed up, liberal state (did I say that outloud?!?)
OK, that is just downright mean. Seriously, RUDE. I miss boating so much. So many good memories on Folsom Lake with Grandma holding on to her wig. And since when is that the only good thing about life in CA? Last time I checked there were like a million!
What a fun time! Yes I am jealous, but not for long; after all, we do live in the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" and happen to have a boat...only now I just wish it were warm enough... I remember boating with your family when we were kids though, those were great times! Chris and I met on a boat so it has been a big family tradition with us.. I'm glad to see you have kept the tradition alive with your family too.
yes yes yes. very jealous. i told michael if we're ever rich, my one indulgence i want is a boat. i grew up in florida practically living on the water.

Your kids are so cute! And that really does look like so much fun. :) Almost as fun as Grapefruit's kids playing with ice cubes... ;)
