Lindsay and most of her soccer team for her 12th bday.

Me with a few other lovely ladies...

Hayden is spying on the girls with his pirate scope. All boy, that kid.

Someone (again, me, hitting the bottle) thought it might be fun for the girls to have karaoke night. Never knew noise levels like that before. Dave got hives.
There were some lead singers along with a lot of back up!

And Lindsay picked her favorite...B&R Cookies & Cream Ice Cream cake. Needless to say, it was a HUGE hit!
Definitely pleased this hard-to-please fellow.

Guessing game...that cute blonde won two -- but had to give one up to the runner-up. Smart girl.

Our sweet Lindsay digging into her LOOT!
The remainder of the gang...3 had already left. Hayden was in HEAVEN playing Ninja and Ghost in the House or something like that. (Lights out, TONS of screaming, running like herds of cattle...Dave almost needed the straightjacket and shock therapy to calm him down).
Brave enough for a listen. First, crank your sound up til it's fuzzy. Then put a microphone up to that...that is what my house sounded like. 12 twelve-year olds screaming!
One girl wrote a 3 page card...I only managed to capture 2 of the pages...it's Sam describing Lindsay. So sweet and SO funny.
I know we'll remember this one for years to come. Not only will kids be kids, but kids need to be kids. That's what this was all about. Good, old-fashioned get together for a little craziness. And while my ears are still ringing...it was definitely worth it!

My husband feels the same way when the girls start giggling and screaming--between watching over them at Girls Camp and having a few sleepovers at our house. :S
Looks like the girls had a great time, though. :)
That looks like so much fun. And I'm having a good laugh over picturing Dave in that chaos! :)
Happy Birthday Linds!
i totally agree that kids need to be kids. good for you. i had LOTS of this at my house growing up (we were definitely the party house) and i LOVE my parents for letting it happen. and i think my sister and i stayed happy and innocent a lot longer because we were having good, clean, LOUD fun at home all those years.
a beehive! is she SO EXCITED?!?
Fabulous, fabulous! We need more of this at homes. This is the good stuff right here. I hope Lindsay had a wonderful birthday!!!
P.S.- You look GREAT Debs!
P.S.S- Hope Dave's hives are better today ; ) Next time you'll have to have some cream on hand or send him out of the house (lol)
I know David will have some more grey hair when we see him! I'm proud of you for having the guts to do it! Here's my medal for you!
I know Lindsay had a great time.
She owes you one.
How fun, we are gearing up to have one of those soon, except the recipient is our 6 year old son...still will be crazy I'm sure, but in a more rowdy, less giggly way...
And although she has no clue who I am, Happy Birthday Lindsay!
