Mitchell is!
We didn't have enough hours in the day to go around to all 9 adults and 19 children that were attending our Thanksgiving to say what we were thankful for, so now that I have the floor, here it is, and, as usual, it's not short!
I'm thankful for differences so I may appreciate similarities.
I'm thankful for sorrow so I can better savor joy.
I'm thankful for fat so I can appreciate being hungry (for the greater good)!
I'm thankful for exhaustion so I can appreciate energy.
I'm thankful for brown hair so I can appreciate blonde highlights!
I'm thankful for work so I can enjoy relaxing on the couch.
I'm thankful for boredom as a reprieve from the (happy) chaos which is my life.
I'm thankful for family so I can appreciate being alone.
I'm thankful for understanding when I've lost my way and need a hand.
And...
I'm thankful for love and those who show me how and offer it in return.
Vacation is over...but here are some highlights:

Daily Grapefruit, Wrinkles and Time, Raising Amazing Children
3 Sisters Blogging -- bringing us closer together.

My mother looks as young as we do! Reliv works!

And this isn't all the grandchildren! Mormons really do need to drink.
(Don't worry...that's Martinelli's on the table below...don't call the Mormon police!)

The feast, as it were. Grandma did most of the work and earned herself a well-deserved nap post-gorging.

A small reminder in the background. Ample food, loving family, smiles, and Becca's apple pie. YUM!

Look who's sentimental now! And I quote..."What happened to you in your childhood to make you this sentimental?" :) It was such a great Thanksgiving. Loved seeing you and loved this blog. Even felt a little teary at the end...(The part about Reliv...)
:)
This is from MAC.
That is the best list of thankful sentiment I've read in a long time. Wish I'd said it myself. You bring such a unique perspective to everything. I appreciated the ad for Reliv!
I love this post. A perfect way to end my catching up on your blog (I went backwards--can you tell?) Thanks for sharing your list. I needed to read that since I was so cranky about my complaints this a.m. You are the best. Being around you was so fun. Thanks for posting the photos and the memories. When we find out about publishing, let's see if we can publish "3 Sisters Blogging" and put our favorites in with comments as well. Then we can always look back and laugh and cry all over again!
