The Perfect Plan

Okay, listen up Mom, Bex, Liz. I've got it. It's time we all moved closer together. I've got 2 vacant brand new houses on both sides of me. Mom, one is a single story which would be perfect for you and Doug. You wouldn't need a large house if we all lived nearby. Bex, you could take the other side. Liz, you could live around the corner in a brand new one -- the biggest with the huge lot that will be ready soon -- or buy the house we just moved from! (Nathan and Peter could have a ball shooting Rattlesnakes in the summertime!) Bex, Mom, we'll put gates inbetween yards so Doug can wheel on the path and watch the kids swim and Bex -- you wouldn't have to have a pool cuz you could just use mine. It's a two-fer. Liz, your kids could just ride their bikes around the corner. Everyone could carpool to and from school, seminary, etc., and we've save tons of time and money living life this way. None of us would need food storage because Mom's could feed a small village for several years. AND -- we'd never been sick or ailing because Mom would pipe-feed Reliv through the water pipes and we'd just get it through our faucet. AND -- Mom -- you'd live closer to Tony & Cathy so you could help them when needed. Craig might feel inspired to move, too. It really is the perfect plan. You can't argue with me. Plus, I'm in the best ward in the county. You'd love it.

Of course, there'd be rules. Mom, your garden would not be allowed to encroach on my flower landscaping and Doug's TV volume would have to be in check. Bex, you'd have to put a tall lock on the gate because of Mitchell. Plus, I'd have to put a lock on my fridge! Liz, you wouldn't be allowed to invite us over for whole wheat waffles. I'm drawing the line right there. But I'd be happy to be a regular provider of white bread bagels and popsicles by the pool.

So...who's in?

Ooh, I love it!!!!!! We just need California to get its act together and also work out the tiny detail of work for the husbands, but I LOVE it! Especially the part about you having the pool. Then I will grow the fruit trees where I would have had the pool, so Becca can make fresh peach and apple pies for all of us all summer long!

ME! ME! ME! COUNT ME IN! Can you pllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeease find Matt a job? Oh, and pay off this house so we can move? Please? Pretty please? I mean, what else are big sisters for?

Sounds heavenly. I seriously have been thinking about it ever since we talked about it yesterday. I wish...

THAT would be a dream come true, wouldn't it? We could have pot luck dinners when we were too tired to cook, and get California tan in the pool. My garden would feed us all. And you could all join my wonderful choir.

If I could just add my two cents (not that anyone asked or anything)...

I personally love this plan!!

Love where your head is at Debs. How cool would that be Bex, if you guys were just over an hour away from me?!? Oh the shopping trouble we could get in! We could chat all the time! I agree Liz, this state needs some serious help. And Barb, I would love to have one of your delicious home made dinners- it's been too long.

Hey Debs-
Yes, my mom still lives in G Bay on Seeno! I visit her quite often. Planning on heading up there soon. Next time I am up that way, I would love to bring Addi by to say hello and meet your kids (and see your gorgeous home in person!).

Sounds like a good plan. Wouldn't it be cool if you could actually have that happen?! But what would we do without Liz? :)

Addi and I will be making a pilgrimage to the G town in early September. We will definitely catch up then!

Bex- I think that would be a perfect time for you to go visit your sister and see her new house ; )

My sentiments exactly. The more time goes by the more I feel deep down that we should take advantage of every chance we get to be together. We love you guys.
