Seriously, how do people AFFORD those houses?! Pretty extravagant if you ask me. I mean, how would one clean them?! I would spend my whole life cleaning if we lived in one. And if you had a house that big, you could probably afford a house cleaner. But I am the kind of person who likes to clean their own house (call it crazy). I remember you guys lived up on Sierra College. I thought about you as we were driving along. Where did you guys buy, in Rocklin? And I share your feeling about how that area has changed. I don't escape from the Bay Area when I go home to my mom's. I bring the Bay area with me. Granite Bay has become a little too snobby for my taste. I miss the old days, when Douglas was two lanes with nothing but open fields. Not it's strip mall after strip mall. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice area and anything you want is within driving distance. But there was just something about the simplicity it use to be ::sigh:: Hope your backyard project is going along 'smoothly'. Can't wait to see the final product.
