Creepy in time for Halloween

Oh...David Letterman. How the mighty have fallen. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then check it out:

http://m.www.yahoo.com/?fr=fptb-&r0=1254521493

Here's the thing. I get that he's a comedian. But now he's a hypocrite! No longer will I be able to stomach a joke about some politician who's succumbed to affairs and prostitutes because I know better. He's as low as they are. And then to make light of it on his program last night to save his career? For me, he has just demeaned those women again. Publicly. I'm thinking the fallout has just begun. I hope so. He's just as low as the guy that tried to bribe him.

Being famous. I'm pretty sure that is about as low as life gets. Rarely do I hear anything positive coming out of these people. And while that's making headlines, it's such a sad sign of the times. I didn't hear a public apology to his wife or child on that video, nor sense any remorse whatsoever that he'd been pinned. Just an admission of "Yup, I did it. So what? I'm creepy."

David. Yes. You are!

I especially think that last full paragraph is right on.

SO WHAT? What does this have to do with anything? He can't be a good comedian because of his personal life? You don't even know anything about it. Why is everyone assuming these relationships weren't mutual? Or even when they happened. Okay. SO he had relationships w/people at work. SO WHAT.

Nice try EY. You are going to have to dig deeper than this to win the fued.

It's funny you wrote about being famous on your blog tonight. Brian posted tonight because he met Dan Aykroyd this evening and was totally star struck. To my knowledge, DA has not found his way in the media for having an affair with his assistant. So we can continue to like him ; )

Yes, but he was ALREADY in a relationship/married! How would you feel about that if Matt did? Would you feel the same? And we DO know about it cuz he talked about it in a desperate attempt to save his paycheck. LAME!

Okay, he's only been married like nine months. This relationship happened before he was married. Everyone is acting like he was sexually harassing people at work. I just read that it was a relationship with one person, not an intern, and before he got married. so again, what is the big deal???

The thing that shocked me was the audiences reaction... such times we live in...

My sentiment exactly. I hope the American public is ready to dump him.

Why are we no longer shocked by statements of personal immorality? What's wrong with us today? Have we lost all our sensitivity?

Hey Debs! I am leaving for G Bay this afternoon. Addi and I were thinking of popping by Friday afternoon, or Saturday. Whatever works good for you. Can you send me your number again? Thanks!
