Just one

That is what I told my daughter about her birthday party this year. You get ONE big party in your lifetime. We actually had to limit the number of kids to 20. Being the dynamic, sweet, fun kid Lindsay is, there are many who call her friend. (I, on the other hand, feel lucky to have 2 sisters that basically HAVE to call me friend ...or else!). We had to invite the entire soccer team, but it's time they returned the favor, I guess. We've frequented many a soccer birthday party the last couple of months. I'm going to have to get a second job to support the birthday party circuit for my kids!

We partied at Skyzone (see skyzonesports.com) -- no I don't work for them. It was a huge amount of fun for the kids and most had never been there.

Hayden getting in on the action -- he LOVED it!

They had free jump for a while and then they broke into teams for 3-D Dodgeball. Notice (below) Lindsay directing traffic. Me oh my!

Thank goodness for Costco and cheap, big birthday cakes. Skyzone provided the pizza and frozen yogurt.

Lindsay enjoying Christmas in October. This girl is LUCKY!!!

And we hope she enjoys the memories...because she's cashed in that "Just One" big birthday ticket.

Still, as a parent, it's wonderful to see so much joy on the face of your child and fun being had by all. If only eleven could last just a little longer...

That looks like it as FUN!!! Wish I could have been there. What I'm wondering is...Will "just one" last? :)
I would be your friend even if I weren't your sister!!

P.S. Happy Birthday Lindsay! (Am I missing something, i.e. memory cells? I thought Lindsay's birthday was in November!)
