Annie made it through the night. Apparently, so did we! It was a bit of a long night as I wanted to deliver good news to the girls when they awoke. Dave called at 5:30 am and they said they gave her some plasma, and that really helped and she's doing pretty well. HOORAY! We now pick her up from the hospital and transport her back to the regular vet.
Her face is still super swollen and they said she does much better with pain meds. I can only imagine. She will probably bear some of the effects for a minimum of 7 days.
Life just isn't easy whether you're a dog or a human! Sometimes we just stick our nose where it doesn't belong and pay the consequences. BUT -- we're SO glad she's going to make it.

I am so glad that Annie took the bite and no one else. I am thankful she is still alive, not only because she's such a sweet dog, but also because she is a great watch dog!
